Twitch Connection
Semper Cue connects to Twitch so a streamer can read live chat and platform events, power local automations, display emotes, and send broadcaster-approved chat messages from the desktop app.
Requested Twitch access
- Read chat and Twitch events used for stream automation, feeds, goals, and diagnostics.
- Send chat messages as the signed-in broadcaster when the streamer uses the manual composer or a configured chat action.
- Read Twitch emotes so Semper Cue can show an emote picker inside the desktop app.
Desktop sign-in
Semper Cue uses Twitch Device Code sign-in for the Windows desktop app. The app does not ship a Twitch client secret.
After sign-in, Semper Cue keeps Twitch connected automatically and asks the streamer to approve access again only when Twitch requires reauthorization or a new scope approval.
